Purchasing
Using our on-line shopping catalogue you can select your items and amount. Once you have completed your shopping please click 'checkout'. This will take you to a secure server of Globecharge in order to enter your name, address, delivery address and email. Once completed click 'next' and you will be redirected to the secure servers of Pay pal where your financial transactions will be completed.
On completion of your order by entering your details you will receive an order confirmation. When redirected for payment and on completion of payment you will receive a payment confirmation from Paypal. Once we receive your order and payment confirmation from Paypal,your selected items will be packaged. You will then receive an email from Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes to confirm your order and payment together with confirmation of dispatch with an estimated time for arrival.
We fully recognise that not everyone has the time to order on-line. In this case please contact us by phone on 01472 851430 and we will take your order details.
Payment by debit or credit card processed through World pay Once payment has been processed, card data is destroyed.The information to process delivery is held within the secure environment of Globecharge.

Stock Availability.
All new items displayed on this web site are currently held in stock. However, in the event that an item you require has been sold out before the web site has been updated, we will inform you immediately. You will be given the choice of cancelling your order or placing your order on back order. Back orders generally take no longer than 14 days to arrive to you. However, in the 'Italian Collection' back orders can take up to 12 weeks to arrive to you.For specialised orders non refundable deposit of 50% will be required.
For the Antique Collection Range these canes and walking sticks are unique and not easily found. Should your selected item be sold, then you will be informed immediately and your payment refunded.
Payment
Please note if paying by Paypal, credit card, Bank transfer we only accept payment in UK sterling.
On-line Payments
Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes are dedicated to on-line security for the benefit of our customers. Our chosen on-line credit payment company is Paypal. Paying by this method will result in you being automatically redirected to the secure Paypal payment gateway.

Product Colours
The colours of our product range depicted on this web site cannot be taken as absolute due to variations in individual computer monitors and their settings.
Delivery
We use Courier Home Network and Parcel Force for our deliveries, all of which, will require a signature on arrival. We are unable to send to P.O Boxes. If this should cause you problems then please, appoint a delivery address where a signature can be provided.
Should you require Next Day Delivery please ensure your order arrives to us before 10.00 am otherwise dispatch will be made the following day.
Should the courier be unable to deliver due to the recipient being unavailable the cost for the courier service will be charged for.
Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes shall not be liable for delay or failure to deliver products promptly if such failure arises due to force majeure or by reason of any delays occasioned by strikes, riots, lockouts or other labour trouble, war, fire, accident, mechanical failure, non-availability of manufactured stock, parts, or materials; delay or failure of delivery of the products to Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes by manufacturers suppliers or other persons; government action, legislation or regulation of any kind; Act of God, or any circumstances whatsoever outside our reasonable control.
Loss or Damage In Transit
Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes responsibility for loss or damaged goods in transit, will be limited to replacing the damaged products or providing a full refund, which ever the buyer prefers. Any damaged orders must be returned to Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes .
The Use of Your Cane
Please note that all our canes are for fashion and / or collector use, we do not hold a range of disability canes/ walking sticks or canes for heavy duty commercial wear. If you choose to ignore our recommended usage in relation to a purchased cane we will not be held responsible for the breakage of the cane nor provide a refund/ replacement for the cane purchased.
Returns Policy
Should you be unhappy or have changed your mind in relation to your purchases, then we are more than happy to accept returns and issue a 100% refund for the goods . Where the requirement is made by the buyer to send by Special Delivery or International the cost of such cannot be refunded.
For the return and exchange for an alternative product the outgoing re-delivery charge will be charged for at cost.
Where the request has been made to alter the length of a cane to a specific height, we cannot accept the return of the item should the buyer change his/ her purchasing wishes
On returning the goods you the buyer are responsible for the return and the cost of return within 15 days of receipt of goods. All goods returned must be, unused and undamaged together with the original invoice and promotional material. We do advise returns to be sent with a tracking number. Once returns are received and checked a refund will be issued within 3 working days on the same format as originally paid for. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing Law
Contracts entered into between Scotties Walking Sticks & Canes and the customer / buyer will be governed by English Law and all disputes will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
