This type of cane is superbly designed. Through the centre of the cane a metal rod is situated. Disks of horn are mounted onto the metal shaft, turned and finished with horn pommel and base horn ferrule .

This cane gives a variety of horn examples in order to give the colourful finished result.

A superb giant of a cane. Large silver pommel, Hallmarked for Edinburgh 1878 mounted on cork wood and finished with base metal ferrule.

An interesting slime line Sunday stick. Head made of bronze.One side holding the initials I R L.

The shaft hickory which has been originally stained and polished . The base of the slim line cane finished with a replacement copper ferrule ring.

Condition

Cane and head in good condition yet showing appropriate wear for age. The shaft cleaned and re-polished to original level.
